Word of the Week-Reflection

Today marks the beginning of an idea that I've been kicking around for a long time. In an effort to make this blog more interactive for my readers.

I am calling my idea, "Word of the Week." Each week, anybody can submit any words they want in the comment box. I will pick one word for the week and attempt to depict that word through a single image or series of images.

Reflection:
1.the act of reflecting or the state of being reflected.
2.an image; representation; counterpart.
3.a fixing of the thoughts on something; careful consideration.
4.a thought occurring in consideration or meditation.

These picture were taken at our national cemetery. The tombstones of American soldiers, from the civil war till now. Men and Women who have given theirs lives for our freedom.

  1. Both of these posts are beautifully done. They really make one stop and think about what others are doing for us. Thank you.

I am fishing around in my brain for a good "weekly word". I'll get it up here when I catch the right one. I think this is a great idea, and am excited to see what comes of it.

The act of confusing or the state of being confused.
